James is one of the founder members of Park Place Corporate Finance and became a partner in 2008.
Before joining PPCF, James spent eight years with PricewaterhouseCoopers and its predecessor firm Coopers & Lybrand. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1997 winning a national prize in the process. As an Assistant Director in the highly successful Northern Corporate Finance team James was involved in the setting up and running of the Construction and Building Products sector team.
In his corporate finance career to date James has advised on transactions totalling in excess of £2 billion. These transactions have been across many different sectors with clients including owner managed businesses, corporates and private equity houses.
