Penthouse Carpets is a long established carpet manufacturer based in Rochdale. The business has been producing high quality carpets for over 30 years and has close relationships with numerous independent carpet retailers throughout the UK.

Penthouse was the subject of an MBO in 1994 funded by 3i and Royal Bank of Scotland. Following a decision by 3i to realise its investment PPCF was appointed to agree the valuation, structure the deal and raise the financing.

A successful transaction was concluded with Royal Bank of Scotland, Penthouse’s existing bank, providing additional debt facilities.
