Southdale Homes Limited is a construction management business specialising in social housing and public sector buildings such as schools, healthcare and community centres. The business is based in Halifax and is one of the North’s largest social housing developers, whose activities also extend to the Midlands.
The company was founded in 1988 by Chris Harris and John O’Hara. PPCF was introduced to Southdale to assist in an equity release and realignment of the shareholder base to give executive management equity participation. PPCF devised, structured and led a transaction which was completed using the company’s own balance sheet.
