Tim Simpson is one of the founding partners of Park Place Corporate Finance. Since moving to Leeds in 1994 he has become established as one of the region's leading dealmakers.
Before establishing the business, Tim spent nine years with 3i, Europe's leading venture capital company. As a Director in the Leeds office he pioneered the development of large transactions in the region. During this time he led many groundbreaking and landmark transactions both in the UK and overseas, acquiring businesses with an aggregate value in excess of £500m. These investments have yielded handsome returns. During his last three years, Tim established and led an international team focused on the Transport & Logistics sector which was responsible for many of 3i's most successful investments.
Before 3i Tim worked in the City for nine years in stockbroking and investment banking. He is a chemistry graduate from King's College London. |
