HS Butyl
Park Place has advised on the sale of HS Butyl to NYSE listed H.B. Fuller, the largest pureplay adhesives company in the world marking a successful exit for long-standing client.
HS Butyl has been designing, engineering and manufacturing butyl tapes for a variety of applications within the construction, infrastructure, automotive and renewable energy industries since its founding in 1964. A worldwide recognised name, it exports to more than 50 countries from its site in Hampshire.
Park Place provided lead advisory support to the shareholders and company, helping present the opportunity, lead negotiations and manage the process successfully through due diligence to completion.
Following its previous acquisition of a North American-based manufacturer of butyl tapes, the acquisition of HS Butyl advances one of HB Fuller’s top technology-based growth segments and uniquely positions it to accelerate its expansion into the $15 billion global waterproofing tape market.
